She was a yarn hoarder. She'd buy tons of skeins of gorgeous colours, materials, not knowing what to do with it. I have no idea how large her collection has grown to now, but apparently the last city she lived in didn't have that great of a yarn store. So maybe it's not as bad as I think it is.
